You can raise funds for our congregation every time you do your regular grocery shopping. Congregation Or Chadash can earn $48,000 per year with only 200 families using eScrip at Safeway, Wild Oats, Office Max, Chevron, Payless Shoe Source, Pep Boys, Big 5, The Sharper Image and many others. You can use your Safeway club card, Chevron card and credit or debit card at most stores to start bringing in the funds. This is a way to help raise funds for the congregation without having to write another check.
Enrollment is EASY. Log on to www.eScrip.com (Click here) and go to Sign Up. The congregation's ID is 9607768. By enrolling online, you avoid the 10-week delay in paper enrollment. You can also record your credit and debit card numbers, a side benefit if your cards are lost or stolen. All entry is secure.
If you register your debit or credit cards, you can also shop at Wild Oats, which has a 3-5% contribution rate. Monthly spending of $400 at Wild Oats generates about $17.50 per month in donations.
